Bangus Festival 2012 Kapihan and Blogcon @ Jollibee Lucao

The Dagupan City’s Bangus Festival 2012 Chairman, Councilor Brian Lim together with the Jollibee Management conducted a blogcon and kapihan this April 18 at Jollibee Lucao, Dagupan City.

Different media persons from different media companies cooperated together also with the Asinan Bloggers headed by Vanj Padilla.

The said kapihan and blogcon tackled the Bangus Festival 2012, the events and the cooperation of the Jollibee Company. They talked also about some environmental and socio-economic issues both in the City Government and the Jollibee Company.

Jollibee focused in their event in the Bangus Festival 2012, which is the Jollibee Day that will be held on April 19, 2012, and the Little Miss Dagupan, wherein there will be a special award given by the company to the contestant with the bubbliest and jolliest smile. They called it as the “Ms. JolliSmile”.

Councilor Brian Lim also focused on the promotion of the great events which the Bangus Festival 2012 has to offer. Some of which are the following: Design Dagupan for digital designers, 101 Ways to Cook Bangus and the Lechon Contest wherein it is an open invitation. The winner of this event will be called the Dagupan’s Special Lechon Recipe.

After the press con with the media persons, the Jollibee Scouts and Jollibee himself dance to entertain the press and the people watching. After the Dance portion, Bloggers immediately ask questions to blog and to tweet to help promote the Bangus Festival 2012 and the Jollibee Company.

                 April 11, the celebration of Pangasinan Day has been a great and successful day to all Pangasinenses. Right after the Float Parade and Street Dancing Contest, the contenders faced the judges and the crowd for the Showdown.
